Main Ingredients

B Vitamins: The Eshumi mask contains multiple B vitamins: B1, B5, B6, B7, B9, and B12. Among them, vitamin B7 (Biotin), also known as vitamin H, plays a crucial role in maintaining healthy skin and a robust nervous system. A deficiency in vitamin B7 can lead to severe hair loss and dry skin. A lack of vitamin B6 increases the risk of developing dermatitis, red rashes, and cracked skin around the mouth. Glutathione: Glutathione is a tripeptide composed of cysteine, glycine, and glutamate, and it serves as a critical antioxidant in the body. A study conducted on 30 Filipino women aged 30-50 years, who met the criteria of having relatively equal melanin levels on both sides of their faces (ranging from 200 to 350), explored the effects of Glutathione. These 30 subjects were selected from an initial pool of 80. The study was carried out at Clinical Trial Management and Testing Associates Inc. in Muntinlupa City, Philippines. It was a randomized, double-blind, placebo-controlled, paired study. Participants were randomly assigned to apply a lotion containing Glutathione on one side of their face and a placebo lotion on the other. Each side received 0.5g of lotion, applied twice daily (between 7:30-9:00 AM and 4:00-5:30 PM) for 10 consecutive weeks. The results indicated an improvement in melanin index and overall skin brightening.

After 10 weeks, the melanin index on the skin treated with the lotion containing Glutathione had decreased compared to the initial levels, while the skin treated with the placebo lotion showed little to no change. The reduction in melanin on the skin helps to brighten the complexion, reducing the likelihood of darkening or sunburn.

Moisture Index, Skin Elasticity Index, and Keratin Index:

Chart A clearly shows an increase in the moisture index, indicating improved skin hydration and a smoother, more moisturized appearance after 10 weeks. Chart B represents the skin elasticity index, which relates to skin smoothness, wrinkle condition, and skin firmness. As shown in the chart, the index line for the lotion containing Glutathione trends downward and is lower than the index for the placebo lotion. This indicates that after 10 weeks, the skin showed significant improvement, with a noticeable reduction in wrinkles.
